My Experience
M/Y Go — Bosun
Feb 2018 – Oct 2020
Joined at the end of build and helped set up the yacht from launch. Implemented deck systems and procedures including LSA/FFE, tender and toy storage, spares and maintenance procurement. Managed a deck team of eight with responsibility for five deckhands, acted as guest liaison, chaperoned guests ashore, drove tenders regularly, and instructed deck crew in safe operation of tenders and toys. Also involved in procurement and instruction for extensive watersports and scuba equipment, and helped design and fit the crew gym.
M/Y Lioness V — Chase Boat Captain, Bosun
May 2016 – Oct 2017
Joined as a deckhand and was quickly given additional responsibility due to prior management experience. Worked to build a strong relationship with the owner and help communicate expectations to incoming crew during a period of high turnover. Captained the owner's 40' Van Dutch in testing conditions and later managed a hired 55' Van Dutch in Miami. Fully proficient with the vessel's toy selection.
